San Jose Gastroenterology has grown substantially over its 14 year history with Liquid Medical Offices, going from a single provider and facility to multiple facilities with 8 providers and over 60 staff members.
Staff Performance: Our task management system allows the clinic to analyze their task queue and incentivize the timely completion of pending tasks.
Clinical Workflow: Staff are grouped according to the clinic’s individual workflow: pre-authorization, scheduler, check-in, check-out, biller and each MD’s medical assistant. Our system facilitates secure communication between each of the groups via its built-in messaging system.
Patient Satisfaction: Surveys are sent to patients via the patient portal to collect feedback regarding recent visits in order to improve patient’s overall satisfaction with recent care.
Reminder System: The clinic reaches over 88% of scheduled patients with our automated SMS, eMail and voice appointment reminders and follow-up messages. This has helped to reduce the clinic’s workload as well as the “no-show” rate.
Lab Results: With over 4500 lab tests ordered each week and roughly one third of which requiring a staff member to follow-up regarding abnormal results; our automated lab result notification system has freed up a substantial amount of staff resources. Additionally, with each lab result is a “patient education” link that informs patients on the type of test run and what their results mean.
