Insuring patient privacy and security of ePHI through rigid adherence to HIPAA and CMS guidelines.

LMO spent nearly two years in research and painstaking preparation to obtain ONC/ARRA certification for our flagship medical records software, Liquid EMR. The federal guidelines and stringent rules set forth by both HIPAA and CMS were not only implemented in our LEMR software product but also became the foundation upon which our Health Information Exchange software was developed. Many of the Meaningful Use requirements from CMS have been incorporated into our HIE and ALL of the security and privacy guidelines were strictly enforced in its development.

We at LMO can say with great confidence that we are not only HIPAA and Medicare compliant but we are dedicated to the principal of continued vigilance in everything we do that remotely touches information privacy and security. To that end, we have implemented comprehensive Privacy and Security policies that are essentially an extension of every published, federal guideline on the subject. Upon completion of this effort, we also did an exhaustive "risk assessment" exercise, the result of which clearly demonstrates our 100% compliance to the federal guidelines.
